Certified paint protection film installed at our Sea Girt studio. A clear, self-healing layer that takes the rock chips, road salt, and bug acid your paint shouldn’t have to, backed by a real manufacturer warranty.
Paint protection film, often called a clear bra, is a transparent layer applied over your car’s paint. You can’t see it once it’s on, but it’s doing real work every time you drive.
Rock chips, road salt, sand, bug splatter, bird droppings, all of it hits the film instead of your paint. And because the film is self-healing, light scratches and swirls disappear on their own with heat from the sun or warm water.
Think of it as a barrier between your paint and everything the road throws at it. When you eventually sell the car, the paint underneath still looks like it did the day you bought it.

Every mile puts your paint at risk from road debris, salt, sun, and grime. Paint protection film takes the hits so your finish does not. At Daylan’s Detailing, we install film that keeps your car looking factory fresh for years. Here is what it does for you.
The film takes the hit so your paint does not. Stones and road debris land on the film instead of your finish.
Light swirls and fine marks disappear on their own. A little heat from the sun or warm water and the surface goes back to smooth and clear.
Factory paint is worth real money at trade in. Film keeps your panels flawless, so your car shows and sells like it is years younger.
Good film adds depth and gloss instead of dulling your paint. Your car looks clean and wet with far less effort.
NJ winters are brutal on paint. PPF blocks salt, brine, and chemical de-icers from touching your clear coat.
Built-in UV inhibitors prevent the paint underneath from fading or oxidizing. Your factory color stays factory color.
Acid rain, UV rays, salt, and industrial fallout wear paint down over time. The film shields your finish from the elements so it stays protected in every season.
Hard water, sprinklers, and mineral deposits leave marks that etch into bare paint. The film resists them, so spots rinse away instead of settling in for good.
No special routine and no new products. Wash it like normal and let the film handle the hazards while your finish stays looking new.
Color paint protection film changes your car’s look and protects it at the same time. It is the same self healing, chip resistant film as our clear PPF, just pigmented. You get a full color change without a respray, so your factory paint stays original and your resale value stays intact.
It is not vinyl. Where vinyl is only about looks, color PPF gives you looks plus protection. The film absorbs rock chips, heals light scratches with heat, and carries a manufacturer warranty. And when you want the factory look back, a certified installer lifts it off clean with no stripping or staining.
Available Options: Gloss, Satin, and Matte
Stealth film takes glossy factory paint and converts it to a smooth satin or matte finish while protecting it at the same time. Your paint keeps its color and depth. It just loses the shine. The same self healing, chip resistant film sits underneath, so nothing about the protection changes.
It is the cleanest way to get a satin or matte car. No respray, no vinyl, nothing permanent. And unlike real matte paint, which is difficult to maintain and expensive to repair, stealth PPF washes like any other car and lifts off clean whenever you want your gloss back.

The most protected cars we build get both. Paint protection film and ceramic coating do two different jobs, and when you layer them, they cover almost everything the road can throw at your paint. Film takes the physical hits like rock chips and scratches. Ceramic locks in the gloss and guards against environmental contaminants, water spots, grime, and UV rays. One is your armor, the other is your easy clean, glossy top layer.
Film protects your paint, but the film itself can still hold onto dirt and water spots over time. A ceramic coating on top seals it and makes the whole surface slick, so water beads off and grime rinses away with less effort. It keeps the PPF film cleaner, glossier, and looking newer for years. Think of it as protecting the thing that protects your paint.

If you drive it, yes. Rock chips, road salt, bug acid, and bird droppings all do permanent damage to paint over time. PPF takes those hits instead, which keeps your finish clean and protects what the car is worth when you sell it.
Most quality films last 5 to 10 years depending on the film and how the car is driven and cared for. Top tier films carry a 10 year manufacturer warranty. Regular washing and avoiding harsh chemicals will get you the most out of it.
It depends on your vehicle and how much coverage you want. Front end only costs less than full vehicle, and a compact car costs less than a full size SUV. We’ve wrapped everything from Teslas and BMWs to Porsches, Corvettes, and Lamborghinis. Give us a call and we’ll quote your exact vehicle.
No, not when it’s installed and removed properly. Quality film is made to come off clean without touching your clear coat. The horror stories you hear come from cheap film and untrained installers, which is exactly why authorized dealers exist.
Barely. From a few feet away you won’t see it at all. Get up close and you can spot the edges where a panel ends, but on a proper install those edges are tucked into existing seams wherever possible.
Give it at least 7 days to fully cure. After that, hand wash only for the first month, no automatic washes with brushes. We’ll send you a full aftercare guide when you pick up the car.
Use a pH balanced shampoo and a soft wash mitt, rinse well, and dry with a microfiber towel. Skip abrasive sponges and automatic washes with spinning brushes. That’s really it.
